Calendar Guidelines & Submission Forms

Natural Awakenings Magazine of East Michigan offers this resource for the community. Calendar listings are designed for businesses to offer additional ways to promote their knowledge, business and practice. Our experience has shown that this is most effectively done with FREE or low-cost admission events. We have several types and costs for our calendar. Please review the information below carefully and select the style that best fits your needs.

• YOU MUST USE THE CORRECT SUBMISSION FORM FOR YOUR LISTING.

• Events submitted without admission pricing or FREE will not be published.

For events with admission of $25 or less:

We offer 2 types of listings for events with admission less than $25. Because each is slightly different, the two types each have their own submission forms:

For events with admission over $25:

Evens with an admission cost over $25, or those that require websites and or email addresses, will need to be run using either of two optional paid-only methods:

 

60 words - Websites and email addresses ok to include	Text and image - 2.25" x 2.25"

~Submit by the 12th of the month prior to publication using links to the appropriate submission form above~

Note: Our experience has shown that events with admission costs of $25 or less are usually effective in the calendar as regular "text" listings. Events (classes, workshops, clinics, training courses, etc.) with admission above $25 require more exposure to be effective. This can be achieved through regular display advertising or by utilizing our Mark Your Calendar or Calendar Display Ad options.
